Jeffrey

Jeff serves as Underwriting Counsel for Chicago Title’s Pittsburgh National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. Joining the NCS in 2021, he provides support to the myriad residential and commercial real estate transactions coming through the office each year. From legal title research and review, to ensuring corporate governance capacities, to the multitude of additional issues that come with buying, selling, and financing real estate sales, every day is a fresh challenge. With over a decade in the title industry, including both mineral and surface title experience, and over five years in various management roles, Jeff looks forward to each day’s new challenges.

Life and work can be stressful, but, if we keep moving forward taking one step at a time, the stress will take care of itself, and the rewards of our accomplishments will be well worth the hard work.

Jeff is a past trustee of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation, past president of the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association, and past executive board member of the West Virginia Chapter of American Association of Professional Landmen. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Penn State University, and received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Jeff was born and raised in the south hills of Pittsburgh and currently lives with his wife, two daughters, and black Labrador retriever. Outside of the office he enjoys many outdoor activities including golfing, running, bicycling, and playing with the kids. Jeff is a major college football fan, and can be found arguing (as a lawyer, naturally) about sports with anyone who is willing to engage.
