Joseph Huber is Area Counsel for Chicago Title’s Pittsburgh National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. Joseph joined Chicago Title in 1995 but has been a member of the Fidelity Family since 1981. Joseph underwrites a variety of real property title insurance transactions primarily in western Pennsylvania, but he covers the entire Commonwealth. Recent examples include developments at McCandless Crossing in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Newbury Development in Bridgeville, and a number of transactions at the old airport terminal property within Pittsburgh National Airport. In addition to the countless hours spent in the office examining titles, Joseph also participates in a number of speaking engagements in the area on real estate and title related matters.
My philosophy is wake up every day happy, work hard like I did as a kid in the steel mills, and treat every client like he or she is a friend…because most of them are.
Joseph has affectionately been dubbed “Title Man” by colleagues and customers due to his experience in the industry and extensive knowledge of Pennsylvania real estate law. He’s had the pleasure of acting as a resource for long-standing local customers who will contact him for assistance with general title questions and concerns whether they are concerning a current transaction or not.
Formerly in his community, Joseph was a member of the Penn Township Planning Commission. He also serves as a member of the Real Property Section of Allegheny County Bar Association. Joseph is also an ardent supporter of the University of Pittsburgh where he obtained his undergraduate and law degrees. It also is the alma mater of his wife, son and daughter. Unsurprisingly, Joseph is a long-time holder of Pitt football season tickets. He loves his University and his wonderful years spent on campus as a student.
